Are you looking for something fun to do the morning of July 4th? We are in need of volunteers to help
marshall the parade units into formation for the July 4th parade from 8am - 11am! 

2024 ACTIVITIES

10am: parade begins from butler county fairgrounds 

Step Back In Time History Tour
9:30am - 3pm:  At all historical sites exploring how kids have helped support the homefront during times of war. live music at 20 High Street - Event details can be found on this Facebook Event Page

historical sites open
10am - 4pm:  butler county soldiers, sailors & Pioneers monument
1Pm - 4pm:  historic log cabin
11Am - 4pm: Butler county historical society (327 n. second st)
12pm - 4pm: heritage hall (20 high st)

free riversedge concert
6pm: doors open
8:30pm: that arena rock show

hamilton's fireworks show
10pm: fireworks begin
Fireworks are shot from veterans park and are visable along alot of the river and the Dave Belew Trail

Parade Participant Rules & Additional Information

** NO DISTRIBUTION OF ANY MATERIAL per Hamilton Police Dept.
(ie Candy, Flyers, Balloons, Buttons, Stickers, or Toys.)

The 4th of July Parade is a community celebration, reasonable decorum is expected from all parade participants at all times. All amplification must be approved by the committee prior to use and the Committee reserves the right to remove any unit from the parade at any time.

Sirens & Air Horns are EXTRODINARILY LOUD(120+db), please use them sparingly, especially when you are very close to the crowds and/or TV Hamilton Camera Set.

THESE RULES ARE FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR VIEWERS. THANK YOU

** There are at least -
6-90 degree Left and Right turns that your unit MUST negotiate,
3 uphill and 3 downhill portions of the route,
a height restriction of approximately 14 feet.

Line Up Details

Line will be at the Butler County Fairgrounds, gates open at 8:30 AM. You will be sent details as to your location in the parade. The parade steps off at 10 AM.
